COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are investigating after a possible meth lab was found in a city home Tuesday.
SWAT teams were searching a home on South Sheridan Avenue near Memorial Park, when they made the discovery.
A HAZMAT team was called in to neutralize the chemicals, some of which may be explosive.
Several roads were closed in the area.
Authorities said they do not know how long the lab has been there.
Colorado Springs has seen a dramactic decrease in meth labs over the past several years after recent laws limited the sale of cold medicines used to make meth.
