COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Seat belts could be responsible for saving the lives of two young people involved in a car crash early Sunday morning.
The crash happened just after 1:30 in the morning on Broadmoor Valley Road in Colorado Springs.
Colorado Springs Police officers were investigating a separate incident when they noticed a northbound car traveling at a high rate of speed.
The driver suddenly turned off the car's headlights.
