DENVER (AP) -- Tracking devices show Colorado wildlife are wandering farther than expected.
The radio collars are being used on mountain lions, lynx, wolves and other wild mammals.
The GPS devices show a dozen of the 218 lynx transplanted into Colorado walked as far as Kansas, Iowa and Alberta, Canada.
The Denver Post says a wolf collared near Yellowstone wandered hundreds of miles through Wyoming and Utah, then entered Colorado.
