Three arrested during cocaine bust in Lamar

LAMAR, COLO. -- Lamar Police officers arrested three men during a cocaine bust after checking on a possible parole violation in the town Saturday.

Officers from the police department, as well as Prowers County deputiesColorado Highway Patrol officers and parole officers were contacting a parole client in the 400 block of North 5th Street when they seized almost two ounces of cocaine and cash from the house.

Officers arrested 25-year-old Baltazar Parra and 28-year-old Jose Castillas, both Lamar residents, for possession and distribution of drugs.

Police also arrested 40-year-old Eustaquio Castillas for a parole violation.

Parra and Jose Castillas are at the county jail on $50,000 bond each.
