Investigators try and determine how and when the man died

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Colorado Springs Police Department said a man who was found in a field in Colorado Springs Sunday morning most likely committed suicide.
They said the 46-year-old man suffered what appeared to be a single gunshot wound.
Investigators said there are no indications of foul play at this time.
An autopsy has been planned for Monday to confirm the exact cause of death.

The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating after a body was found in a field near Centennial Blvd. and Chuckwagon Rd. Sunday morning.
Police said several people walking their dog accidently discovered the body around 6:45 a.m.
They said the body appears to be that of an adult male in his 40's, and added there are visible signs of trauma.
The El Paso County Coroner did respond to the scene, and is working to determine how and when the man died.
Officers said they did received three or fours calls overnight from residents in the area reporting possible gunshots, but they said those have not been confirmed.
