Police look for Shamrock robbery suspect

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are on the hunt for a suspect that held up a Diamond Shamrock station with a handgun on Tuesday evening.

The robbery happened in the 2400 block of Arlington Drive near Circle Drive just after 6 p.m.

The suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk.

Officials described the suspect as a white man, about 6'2'' tall and weighing about 240 pounds.

He has a heavy build, facial hair and was last seen wearing a grey or black colored fleece and a green wool ski hat.
