FOUNTAIN, COLO. -- Police said a man died after he fell out of a moving truck early Sunday morning.
Fountain Police were called to Mesa Ridge Parkway and South Highway 85 around 1:15 a.m. Sunday.
Police said 22-year-old Andrew J. Dalenko of North Carolina was riding in the truck when he opened the passenger door and fell onto the roadway.
Dalenko died at the scene.
Police said alcohol is believed to be a factor.
Westbound Mesa Ridge Parkway was closed for around three hours.
The investigation is active, but police said it appears accidental.
An autopsy will be performed.
No other injuries were reported.
