COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Fort Carson officals said Spc. Jordan Peters has been sentenced to 10 years in jail.
They said after his jail sentence is complete, he will be discharged from the army for bad conduct.
Peters rank was also reduced, and he must also forfeit all pay and allowances as part of his sentence.

A Fort Carson soldier has been found guilty of two charges of involuntary manslaughter and driving under the influence.
Officals with the Mountain Post said a military panel found Spc. Jordan Peters guilty Saturday.
They said he is scheduled to be sentenced Sunday.
Peters was involved in a car crash in the early morning hours of Feb. 13, 2010 on Highway 115 that killed two other soldiers.
