DENVER (AP) -- A week after the election, Sen. Michael Bennet is back on the road.
Instead of stumping for votes, the Democrat is traveling around Colorado to thank campaign volunteers and supporters.
On Tuesday, Bennet planned to stop in Boulder, Fort Collins, Greeley, Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
He'll visit with supporters in Alamosa on Wednesday before heading to western Colorado for stops at brew pubs and a brewery in Durango, Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs.
Bennet narrowly defeated tea party Republican Ken Buck, allowing Democrats to hold onto a Senate seat once viewed as a prime opportunity for the GOP to make gains.
