80 Fort Carson soldiers returning from Afghanistan

FORT CARSON, COLO. -- About 80 Fort Carson soldiers are returning from a yearlong deployment in Afghanistan.

They're expected Tuesday night, although arrival times for returning soldiers have frequently changed in the past.

The soldiers are from the 68th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 43rd Sustainment Brigade.

Fort Carson says the brigade assisted in the U.S. troop buildup in Afghanistan this year.
