Power outage forces two schools to dismiss

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Utilities restored power late Tuesday morning after outages closed two schools and left residents without power in southern Colorado Springs.

The outages impacted the areas of Stratmoor Valley, Stratmoor Hills, Bradley Road, and South Circle and Lake.

Two schools, Harrison High School and Gorman Education Center, dismissed at 10 a.m.
