Closed from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

TELLER COUNTY, COLO. -- Update 4:10 p.m.

Colorado State Patrol says it will close Highway 67 in both directions from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. due to recovery efforts in the HAZMAT tanker truck rollover that happened earlier Friday afternoon.

The alternate route through the area is Teller County Road 1.

HAZMAT tanker on its side, Hwy. 67 down to 1 lane

A tanker truck hauling hazardous material has rolled over onto its side on Highway 67 at mile marker #68.

No injuries are reported, but Colorado State Patrol has closed the highway down to one lane around the crash scene, alternating between northbound and southbound traffic movements.

Drivers are also advised they can use Teller County Road 1 for travel to and from Cripple Creek.
