COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The city of Colorado Springs says it has better maps than Google Maps.

Officials say detailed map data and high resolution photos available on SpringsView  www.SpringsGov.com/GIS  show extensive data related to land records, streets, planning, public works, parks and recreation, public safety, and other topics of public interest.

The public can access this information through the city’s web mapping service which has recently been upgraded to offer more features and be more user-friendly.

To access, go to www.SpringsGov.com/GIS and click on the SpringsView link.
