GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) — The U.S. Census Bureau's Grand Junction office is recruiting about 1,300 temporary, part-time workers to help with the once-a-decade population count in Colorado. The workers would complete the 2010 Census in 20 counties and the tribal lands on Colorado's Western Slope. The Census Bureau will mail out 10-question forms to about 120 million households nationwide in March. Residents who don't respond will get a follow-up postcard. A census taker would visit those who still don't respond. (Copyright 2010 The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
