Missing Child alert canceled, pair is found

DENVER -- Denver police have Wednesday morning canceled the Missing Child alert issued Tuesday night.

Missing chld Tomito Tovar and his grandmother, Juana Robledo-Guerero, are safe; they were located in Denver.

Denver police say a grandmother who has mild Alzheimer's disease was given care of her 2-year-old grandson while his mother went to a doctor's appointment midday Tuesday, and the pair have not been seen since.

The grandmother, Juana Robledo-Guerero, speaks only Spanish. She moved from Mexicso about four months ago and does not know the area.

The child's name is Tomito Tovar. He will be 3 years old on Dec. 22.

The pair was last seen in the area of east 33rd Avenue and Elm Street. The grandmother left the location traveling in an unknown direction.

The boy is described as weighing 50 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a yellow coat and blue jeans.

Robledo-Guerero, 56,  is described as 5 feet tall, short black hair, brown eyes, and wearing a blue fleece jacket and brown pants.
