PUEBLO, COLO. -- The Pueblo County Coroner's Office has identified the body of the man found in a house fire on Thursday, Dec. 10, to be that of Robert Piserchio. The fire was in the 5400 block of Stonemoor Dr.

The case is being investigated as a homicide. Pueblo County Sheriff’s deputies, Tenth Judicial District Attorney investigators and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation have continued their investigation throughout the night and are following all identified leads in the case.

According to arriving firefighters and deputies, entry was made to the residence as a result of a fire alarm. Upon entry, they found the body had to be extinguished.

The Pueblo County Coroner has confirmed thermal injuries consistent with first responder accounts of the incident at the home.
