IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Authorities are cleaning up an accident on Interstate 70 at Floyd Hill.

All westbound lanes and two eastbound lanes have been reopened following the crash involving wildlife Friday morning.

The Colorado State Patrol says a vehicle hit either an elk or deer on the highway at around 5 a.m. and then a tractor-trailer crashed into that vehicle. The truck caught on fire.

No one was seriously hurt in the crash although one person was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Early morning travelers were forced to use U.S. Highway 6 to get to the mountains because of the accident.
