KEENESBURG, Colo. (AP) — A semitrailer driver has been cited with careless driving causing death in a crash that killed a man hauling corn on Interstate 76, about 12 miles east of Keenesburg.

The Colorado State Patrol says 64-year-old Edward Rose of Akron was ticketed after the crash that killed 73-year-old Norman Troudt of Wiggins on Tuesday afternoon.

Troopers say the semitrailer struck the back of Troudt's pickup truck as it tried to pass Troudt, whose vehicle went off the road and rolled.

Troopers say Troudt was not wearing a seat belt.
