DENVER (AP) — Colorado is getting more details on stimulus aid coming to help needy parents pay for child care and vaccines.

Vice President Joe Biden says Colorado's package includes $24.3 million for a fund that helps low-income parents pay for child care while they work.

Also, Colorado is getting about $3.3 million for vaccines for low-income children.

The announcements were part of $2.3 billion in health and child care assistance announced by the Obama administration Thursday.

Already Colorado has awarded $7.5 million in stimulus money for community health centers.
