Update: Missing man found, being medically evacuated

CRIPPLE CREEK, COLO. --

UPDATE:  The Cripple Creek Police Department has notified news media that missing person Bernard Connolly has been found and was late this morning being medically evacuated out of the area. Additional details will be provided at a later time.

The Cripple Creek Police Department is requesting the help of the local public in locating an endangered missing person. 

The individual is identified as Bernard Patrick Connolly, a white male, 75 years old, 5 feet 10 inches, weighing 175 pounds, with gray hair, brown eyes, and a light gray beard. He is from Colorado Springs.

Connolly was wearing black pants, black shoes, a tan pullover with zipper and a black, lightweight coat.

Connolly was last seen on Monday, February 23, 2009, at approximately 5 p.m. when he was in a casino with his wife. Connolly walked away from the casino and has not been located. Connolly suffers from advanced Alzheimer’s.

Anyone with information on Connolly is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency, or Cripple Creek Police Department at 719 689-2655 or 9-1-1.
