COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A woman who saw her stolen truck pull up next to her on the road Wednesday evening was able to pull the driver out and call police.

Colorado Springs Police officers said the woman was stopped at a red light on 8th Street just north of Cimarron Street when she saw a truck pull up next to her. She recognized a sticker on the back and realized it was her truck, which she had previously reported stolen.

The driver of the stolen truck saw the woman staring at him and started to back up. The woman and her friend pulled their car in front of the truck and were able to pull the driver out of the truck and hold him until officers arrived.

Officers said the man was not arrested, and they are continuing the investigation. They did not release any other information.
