COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- One of our reporters logged off email. Turned off the cell phone. And bid goodbye to Twitter and Facebook for five days.

The mission of this "digital diet" was to see what it was like to lose technology "conveniences" and measure the impact on blood pressure and sanity.
