COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A fund has been set up for the family of the 9-year-old boy who died in a crash Monday afternoon in Colorado Springs.

Harrison School District 2 officials said Neto White was a fourth grader at Wildflower Elementary School. The fund is at Harrison District 2 Federal Credit Union at 1060 Harrison Road. Funds can be directed to White Family Memorial Fund and can be dropped off or mailed.

He has been in the district since Kindergarten but has attended more than one school.

White and 17-year-old Leondro Carabajal died after being hit by an SUV while pushing a stalled van on East Pikes Peak Avenue after it ran out of gas. Four others are still in the hospital.

The SUV's driver, 47-year-old Robert Icenogle, was charged with DUID and vehicular homicide. Officers said he didn't see that the van in front of him wasn't moving until it was too late to stop.

Students and staff at the school knew White, and officials said counselors are on site.
