Colorado Springs, Colo. Wednesday, November 21 the Colorado Springs Police Department was contacted by the La Plata County Sheriff's Office requesting assistance in a missing child investigation.
The child, 13 year old Dylan Redwine was reported missing on Monday afternoon, November 19, from his father's house.
The residence is located in Vallecito, Colorado which is approximately 22 miles Northeast of Durango.
A witness reported seeing Dylan walking along a roadway near his father's home with another juvenile male. Both parties were wearing backpacks.
Dylan Redwine currently resides in the Colorado Springs area where he lives with his mother. He was in Durango visiting his father related to court ordered visitation, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Both of Dylan's parents are currently in the Durango area looking for him and are cooperating with investigators. It is unknown if Dylan has the ability to find transportation back to the Colorado Springs area.
