Colorado Springs firefighters were called out on a house fire Monday night.

It broke out around 7:30 p.m. at a home on Nolte Drive West. That's off Jetwing in the southeast part of the city.

Crews said it started in the garage and quickly spread.

One person was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Crews remained on the scene to monitor hot spots.

No word yet on a cause.
