COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs firefighters battled a house fire last Monday night.
Around 11 p.m. units responded to a call of a structure fire in the 1000 block of South Weber Street where they found a house in flames.
Firefighters worked on the fire until they were forced to back out due to instability of the structure.
The fire was put out, and crews stayed on scene monitoring for hotspots.
Fire investigators said the house was abandoned, and nobody was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
