COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The recent ammunition debate in America is causing long lines at Colorado Springs sporting stores.
For the past several weeks, dozens of customers have been spotted gathering outside hours before the doors open.
Shipments of ammunition are delivered to Sportsman's Warehouse on Thursday evening prompting the lines.
Friday, Brett Swanberg arrived two hours before doors opened at the North Chelton location.
"It wasn't that big of an issue until someone said you can't have them anymore," said Swanberg. "And once you say you can't have it anymore it becomes a problem."
Qith conversations about ammunition continue in Washington, the lines aren't expected to stop anytime soon. Many customers planned to return next week, hours before the store opens.
