COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The man wanted for the muders of a Fort Carson soldier and his wife was captured by police Thursday evening.

Police said 17-year-old Macyo Joelle January was located at his home in the 3900 block of East Bijou Street and arrested without incident.

On Monday, 37-year-old Fort Carson soldier David Dunlap and his wife 35-year-old Whitney Butler were shot to death as they entered their own home during a burglary, police said. Their home was in the 200 block of Bassett Drive.

January had been considered armed and dangerous and police worked the investigation around-the-clock.

Jerel Couch was also arrested as an accessory to 1st Degree Murder. Police said he is only accused of harboring a fugitive and was not involved with the homicides.
