The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect involved in the Days Inn shooting Sunday, December 16.
Deputies were dispatched to the Days Inn located on 2850 South Circle Drive after reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, they found evidence of a shooting, but no victim or suspect.
A short time later, it was discovered the 22-year-old victim had been taken by an associate to Fort Carson for medical treatment, but was taken from that location to an off-post hospital.
Despite a gunshot wound to the face, the victim was conscious and able to speak.
Detectives have identified the suspect at 23-year-old Salvadore Pritchett.
An arrest warrant has been obtained.
He's charged with criminal attempt, first degree murder, criminal attempt, aggravated robbery, assault in the first degree, menacing, and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

He may have ties to Pueblo.
Pritchett is considered armed and dangerous and shouldn't be approached.
