AFA Dean of Faculty Retiring

Niki Weirich anchors FOX21 News at 6:30 and 9 p.m.

Colorado Springs, Colo. The Air Force Academy announced Thurday, the retirement of the dean of faculty.

Brig. Gen. Dana Born will step down next summer.

She has been in charge of the faculty since October 2004.

She's a 19-83 graduate of the academy and was a professor at the school for two years before that.

In the coming weeks, the secretary of the Air Force will charter a search committee to review applicants.
