After almost 10 years at FOX21, my co-anchor and friend Stephanie Pytlinski is stepping away from the anchor desk. Together we launched FOX21 News at Nine on March 12, 2001. After the recent birth of her second child, Stephanie said she is ready to stay home with her kids. We respect this decision and wish her all the best.
Please join me in thanking Stephanie for more than nine years of dedication to FOX21 by commenting below with your thoughts and favorite memories.
Here's a note from Stephanie:
Thank you to everyone who's watched our newscast over the years. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to anchor the show, and to have been able to help shape our newscast for the past decade. I'm also grateful to have worked with wonderful people who I'm lucky to call my friends. I'll miss them, and everyone who's welcomed us into their homes each night to share the day's news.
Now instead of reading news stories each night, I'll be reading bedtime stories to my kids. I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my life and I'm thankful for all of your support over the years.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Pytlinski
Stephanie’s last broadcast will be Monday, Sept. 13.
