The robbery happened at the Family Dollar at 1151 S. Prairie Ave.

According to a store employee, the suspect was tearing off security tags from merchandise, and when he was confronted, he pulled up his pants leg and showed the employee a handgun.

The suspect is described as Hispanic with short brown hair, about five-feet tall, and in his mid twenties.

Authorities say he also has a goatee on his chin with no mustache.

If anyone has any information on the suspect's whereabouts, call Pueblo Police at 553-2502.
