Two injured, two arrested after overnight stabbing

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Sunday night altercation leaves two in the hospital and two under arrest, according to police.

At around 10 p.m., Sunday, police received a call with reports of a large fight inside an apartment located on the 3300 block of East Fountain Blvd, near Fountain and Chelton.

Officers forced entry into the apartment, where they found several people, a large amount of blood, but no victims.

Two stabbing victims turned up at Memorial Hospital with several stabbing wounds. Both victims had serious, but non-life threatening injures.

The victims identified one of the suspects as Daqwan Toussaint, who was arrested for 1st Degree Assault.

After further investigation, police arrested a second suspect, Brittany Cranmer, on charges of Accessory to Commit 1st Degree Assault.
