Update: Fort Carson soldier arrested in North Carolina in connection with death
Montrell Mayo, 24, was arrested Sunday in North Carolina.

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating after a woman's body was found inside a hotel room at the Crown Plaza Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the hotel on S. Circle Drive around 6:40 a.m.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the woman's cause of death.
Her name and age have not been released.
Sunday afternoon the Greenville, North Carolina Police Department announced detectives there arrested 24-year-old Montrell Mayo in connection with the death.
Mayo is a Fort Carson soldier, and has family in the Greenville area.
Police said he was arrested on a warrant for first degree murder, and is being held without bond.
No additional details have been released.
