Shooting scene at the Days Inn on S. Circle Dr.

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The El Paso County Sherriff's Office is investigating a shooting at a Days Inn hotel in Colorado Springs.
Police received numerous reports of shots fired around 9:30 Sunday night. Officers responded to the Days Inn on S. Circle Drive and Janitell Road, where they found a trail of blood, but no suspects or victims.
The gunshot victim showed up a short a time later at Fort Carson Gate 4. The 22-year-old man had been shot in the face, but was conscious and speaking. He was transported to Memorial Hospital.
There's no information on the suspect or suspects at this time.
