COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are searching for the man who robbed a woman in a bank parking lot Tuesday afternoon.
Police said a suspect approached a woman in the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot, located near Academy Boulevard and Montebello Drive, and demanded money as he produced a handgun.
The woman gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, police said. He left the area, going west on Montebello Drive in a vehicle.
The suspect is described as a white man, about six feet tall and in his 20s. He was wearing a grey or black hoodie, a ball cap and had pierced ears.
