COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A 22-year-old woman was arrested after being accused of stabbing her husband early Sunday afternoon, police said.

At about 12:35 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of Palacio View, near Fountain Boulevard and Chelton Road, on the report of a stabbing.

The victim, a man in his 20s, told police he had been stabbed by two strangers near the 7-11 in the area.

Police said further investigation revealed that the man had actually been stabbed by his wife at their apartment home.

The man, according to police, was treated at a hospital for ‘possibly life-threatening’ stab wounds to his back and arm.

His wife, 22-year-old Shaquiel Raymond, was arrested on the charge of Assault in the Second Degree.
