DENVER (AP) -- Colorado's gun control debate continues in the state Legislature, where senators are expected to take final votes on magazine ammunition limits and expanded background checks.

Five of seven bills in the Democrats' gun-control package won initial approval last week. On Monday, the Senate was scheduled to take formal votes on the measures.

Other proposals in the gun-control package include a gun ban for people accused of domestic violence crimes, and a ban on online-only gun training for a concealed carry permit.

Two parts of the Democratic gun package were pulled Friday because of lack of support. Those included a liability measure for gun owners and a concealed-weapons ban on college campuses.
