BOULDER, COLO. (AP) -- Gun advocates are planning to hold a meeting in an attempt to flood Colorado with large-capacity gun clips before lawmakers can set limits.

The meeting is being held March 16 in an effort to pre-empt a move by state lawmakers to ban the sale of gun magazines that carry more than 15 rounds of ammunition.

Longmont resident Savant Suykerbuyk tells the Boulder Daily Camera he is asking gun suppliers to donate the gun clips to show their support for gun rights.
