Springs Police: Teenager caught trying to hot-wire car

Colorado Springs police arrested an 18-year-old man after he was caught trying to hot-wire a car Wednesday morning.

At about 9:45 a.m., police were called to the 5800 block of Mark Dabling Boulevard, near Interstate 25 and Rockrimmon, on the report of a man hot-wiring a car in a business parking lot.

Police said a man detained 18-year-old Dylan Fritts after observing him inside his vehicle, a 2002 Honda Civic.

Fritts was arrested, according to police.
