DENVER (AP) -- Frontier Airlines says its flights will no longer be available on Expedia.

The Denver-based airline said Monday that it couldn't reach an agreement with the online travel agency to list its fares there, but it didn't disclose details.

An Expedia representative didn't immediately return an email seeking comment.

Travelers can still find Frontier flights on other travel websites including Travelocity, Orbitz and Priceline, but the airline says the best fares are on its own website, FlyFrontier.com.

Frontier is part of Republic Airways Holdings Inc. It has been encouraging travelers to book flights on its own website rather than anywhere else by offering those customers advance seat assignments, lower fees and more frequent-flier miles.

Online travel agencies typically charge airlines commission for the tickets they sell.
