DENVER (AP) -- Marijuana users in Colorado should expect potency labels on the pot they buy. That's if a task force set up to suggest marijuana regulations takes a vote Tuesday to require potency labels on commercial pot.

The marijuana task force is also expected to vote against a residency requirement, making pot tourism possible.

The potency recommendation would require pot shops to label products with the amount of THC, marijuana's psychoactive ingredient. The task force is not expected to recommend potency limits, an idea requested by some drug critics but discounted as unworkable by the industry.

The task force also planned votes on whether pot shops should have to produce the marijuana they sell, and rules for securing home marijuana gardens.

The state Legislature will ultimately vote on the task force's recommendations.
