COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Frontier Airlines will end its services in Colorado Springs, effective April 7.

According to a company spokesperson, the last flight with Colorado Springs service will happen on April 7.

"Bookings deteriorated for the Frontier service out of Colorado Springs, and we were left with no responsible choice but to terminate the service," the company said in a statement to FOX21 News.  "Residents in the Colorado Springs area can still enjoy low fares on Frontier from Denver."

Froniter currently employes 37 employees out of Colorado Springs. They will now have the opportunity to apply for other positions in Denver, the company said.
