Two convenience stores robbed overnight by suspects wearing ski masks

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police are searching for several suspects after two convenience stores were robbed overnight.

The first happened around 11:50 p.m. Friday at the 7-Eleven on N. Union Boulevard, near Williamette Avenue.

Police said the clerk was robbed at gunpoint.

The suspect is described as a white or hispanic male, 6 feet tall, with an average build in his early 20's.

He was last seen wearing a dark colored ski mask, a blue jacket with gray trim, and gray pants.

No injuries were reported.

The second robbery occured just an hour later, around 1:00 a.m. Saturday at the Circk K on Austin Bluffs Parkway, near Woodmen Road.

Investigators said two men wearing ski masks took money from the clerk.

They said one of the men was armed with a handgun.

No suspect description was given, and no injuries were reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
