COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Investigations of a random bullet hole at a Springs mobile home park Friday turns into a murder investigation.

57-year-old Donna Kaiser-Anderson has been arrested on second degree murder charges.

FOX21 news obtained the court documents detailing what Sheriff's deputies found at the scene.

Deputies responding to a bullet through a man's wall Friday afternoon in the southeast part of town at the Springs mobile home park located off Western Drive. They realized the bullet appeared to be coming from the home next door, belonging to Donna Kaiser-Anderson.

When they knocked on the door, no one answered. After speaking to neighbors who said Dorothy Anderson, her mother, should be home, deputies were concerned that she wasn't responding to their knocking.

Kaiser-Anderson returned home from work after receiving a phone call from the Sheriff's office to let deputies into her house. They said they needed to check on her mother, "Dot" Anderson.

When they first asked if anyone was home Donna said, "Ah... Well..."

The deputy asked again if anyone else was in the home. She then responded, no.

As they opened Dot's bedroom door, deputies found Dot dead in her bed, covered with a sheet, and 52-year old William "Bill" Coffey dead on the floor with gunshot wounds. A towel was blocking the door gap, presumably to stop any smells from seeping into the rest of the home.

Deputies asked Anderson what happened and all she could say was: "I blacked out. He did something to my mother, and I wasn't going to stand for it."

As the investigation continued, deputies found a pool of blood covered up with a throw rug in the living room and some other areas in the home cleaned of any evidence. They also noticed what looked like drag marks on the floor where a body is said to have been pulled from the kitchen, down the hallway to the bedroom where the two were found.

Deputies believe Bill was shot but there were no visible injuries on the mother, Dot.

Neighbors said they heard three noises Wednesday night that sounded like someone knocking. The next day Bill didn't take the dog out like he usually does, instead she saw Donna caring for the dog. Then all the lights stayed off in the house Thursday night, which they thought was also strange. They added that no one had seen Dot since Wednesday.

Sheriff's deputies confirmed their bodies looked like they'd been there a few days.

According to the court documents the weapon still hasn't been found.

Kaiser-anderson has been booked at the CJC and is held on a $250,000 bond.

The Sheriff's office will release more information when they know Kaiser-Anderson's motive and can piece together more of what exactly happened in that mobile home last week.
