2 year old girl found safe

A two year old missing since Monday has been found safe south of Colorado Springs.

Colorado Springs police said 2 year old Essence Lovato had been missing for 24 hours when they were notified Tuesday night. They believed she was with 38 year old Tonia Shetina.

Police were notified Wednesday afternoon around 3:00 that Shetina was at a house south of Fountain. Violent Crimes Investigators and El Paso County Sheriffs deputies went to the home and safely recovered Essence.

No other details have been released.
