The suspect in the Sunday nights Days Inn shooting made it as far as Pueblo before being arrested.
The El Paso County Sheriffs Office says 23 year old Salvadore Pritchett was arrested shortly before 10:30 Monday night near 14th and Elizabeth in Pueblo. Pueblo police arrested Pritchett on outstanding warrants, one of which was in place because of Sundays shooting.
Deputies were called to the Days Inn hotel near Circle and I-25 around 9:30 Sunday night on a report of a shots fired. They found no victim or suspect, but got a call later about a victim at Fort Carson. The 22 year old was shot in the face, but was able to speak with investigators.
Pritchett is charged with five felonies, including attempted first degree murder, aggravated robbery and possession of weapon by a previous offender. He is currently in the Pueblo County Detention Center on $150,000 bond.
