COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested three men and are looking for a fourth in connection with a kidnapping early Tuesday morning.
Officers said they went to the 3600 block of Carefree Place and found one of three kidnapping victims in the area. The man said he and two friends had been kidnapped and that one of the suspects was chasing him with a gun after they escaped.
Officers couldn't find the suspects or the other two victims in the area but found the two victims later after following up in the investigation.
Further investigation led them to three of the four suspects around 12:12 a.m. They arrested 29-year-old Joshua Takacs, 26-year-old Dustin Turner and 24-year-old Corey Garrett. They said 27-year-old Stephen Woolwine was also involved and is still on the run. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Officers did not immediately release any other information.
