COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested two wanted men in separate incidents Sunday.

Early Sunday morning, officers learned Daniel Martinez, a man wanted for escape since August 2011, was inside a tavern on South Circle Drive. When they saw him leave Yukon Tavern around 1:34 a.m., they told him to stop. However, Martinez tried to run, and an officer used a stun gun on him.

About 11 hours later, officers received a tip that Jared Bonicelli was staying at a home on East Monument Street. When they got there, someone closed the door.

Officers tried negotiating for about an hour before three people came outside. Officers talked to the three, including the homeowner, who told them Bonicelli was hiding in the attic.

Officers searched the apartment and found Bonicelli and one other person inside.

No one was hurt in either incident.
