WALSENBURG, COLO, -- A natural gas line break south of Walsenburg has forced officials to shut down the entire town.

The Pueblo Chieftain reports schools are closed Wednesday morning in both Walsenburg and Gardner.

Walsenburg mayor Larry Patrick says the break could affect people as far away as Trinidad.

Crews are trying to repair the break.
